All and all it was very nice to be able to take our dog with us without worry. When we checked in the promised 'dog dishes' were not in our room and we had to wait about an hour to give our little fellow a drink as we had left our dishes in the car which was valet parked. The only real problem we had during our stay was waiting on housekeeping. However there were maintenance staff shampooing the carpets all around us during our 4 day stay. One thing I must mention is that while the room is nice with all the regular Harrah's amenities.the carpets in the pet friendly rooms are stained and worn.
Be prepared for your little friend to get lots of attention as you walk through the lobby, you'd think people had never seen a dog before. The room comes complete with dog dishes, treats, a doo doo bags (scented). It costs about $25 more but with rates as low as $30 for a standard room, we paid only $55. We stayed at Harrah's which now offer pet friendly rooms.
If you just can't leave your little friend at home, take him with you when you visit Laughlin.
